Sometimes you just can't make these things up. Tim related a funny story that happened today that is just so typical of the Chipper. Tim maintains a fairly strict and regimented daily schedule with the horses- feeding, grooming, working, and neck sweating at the same time each day. Sweats go on at a certain time, go off at a certain time. So...at the usual time today, Chip was tied in his stall with his neck sweats . Since he is pretty compliant and LAZY Tim felt secure that he had just enough time for a needed to run to a tack vendor to get some fly spray before the designated time for the sweats to come off. Sure enough, 2 minutes before Chips sweats were to be removed, Tim gets a cell phone call. Did he know that Chip had just now untied himself and removed his sweats HIMSELF? Tim swears Chipper can tell time and if Tim wasn't going to keep the schedule, Chip was going to. We can't tell you enough about how much personality this stallion has.
